I opted to purchase this and has not regretted. This device uses lithium ion phosphate battery which really makes a difference. Not only does last longer, but it is also much safer than ncm battery as it does not catch fire. Totally worth it even with the higher price and weight. I paired the device with a renogy 80W solar panel and it does its job although I would suggest using a higher watt solar panel for faster charging as it supports up to 200W. I recently have experienced power outage and it is absolutely a life saver. The light is surprisingly handy during the sudden blackout.

I took the power station on a one week camping trip and used it to charge my phone, drone and laptop. And it still has more than half the battery left.
Solar panel would be perfect addition which is what I am probably getting next.

I mainly purchase the AE1000 for camping and home backup. So far the AE1000 has been performing within expectation though I wish it would run even higher watt for our grill. But otherwise it is good.

Love the slick design and the metal built, very very useful PD port since apple phone doesn’t give out the charger anymore, powerful enough to my laptop too. Functions are very straightforward, nothing complicated.
